Encore Fellowships match experienced professionals with high-impact, capacity-building projects at nonprofit organizations. Fellows contribute 1,000 hours over the course of a year (typically 20 hours per week) and receive a $25,000 stipend for their service.


As an Encore Fellow, you will:

  • Collaborate closely with nonprofit teams
  • Apply your experience and skills to meaningful work
  • Gain exposure to the nonprofit sector
  • Enjoy opportunities for both professional and personal growth
At this time, Encore Fellowships are offered only in United States.

Eligible candidates for an Encore Fellowship:
  • Have 20+ years of work experience.
  • Have deep interest in contributing expertise to a social impact organization,
  • Can commit to 1,000 hours over a period of 6-12 months for a capacity-building project,
  • Be eligible to work the United States,
  • Are available to work onsite/hybrid/remotely for 6-12 months for 20-35 hours per week.
Encore Fellowships handle all the details of the screening, onboarding and payroll for Fellows as temporary part-time or full-time employees.
